Dr. Youssef Bouhout
Periodontal specialist
Dr. Youssef Bouhout received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2014 from Université Laval. He then completed additional training in multidisciplinary dentistry while practising in a private office during this period. Dr. Bouhout then completed his specialty in periodontics at Université Laval and received his fellowship from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 2019. He has also completed a master’s degree in dental sciences on laser treatment of periodontitis. During his studies, he received several awards for academic excellence, including a distinction recognizing his professionalism and the excellence of his academic results at the graduate level.
His three-year periodontal training allowed him to specialize in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of various periodontal diseases and the placement of dental implants. He also combines art with the most recent and efficient techniques in the field of gum repair and aesthetic gum surgery, particularly through gum grafts.
Dr. Youssef Bouhout practises periodontics and implantology in greater Montréal and Trois-Rivières. He is also responsible for clinical teaching in the multidisciplinary residency program at the Montréal General Hospital affiliated with McGill University. Dr. Bouhout is always concerned about the well-being of his patients and meticulous in his care. His empathy, professionalism and patience are the keys to a climate of trust that is close to his heart.
